Welcome to the first of the NESL online Newsletters. This is to keep you informed about the latest technology from NESL on a regular basis.
Here we are in the 5th month of the new millennium and NESL have just completed a package of equipment for an overseas customer. This package includes our latest hydraulic driven 3 phase Flottweg centrifuge decanter with a Viscotherm Rotordiff and hydraulic control on a NES402D hydraulic power pack. A Helical screw feed pump, and two NES sit and ride Mover systems complete with rotary lobe pumps and NES fully sheathed protected umbilical which also include operator air supply and communication cord. This is the very latest Mover system and with the airline in the umbilical it gives additional safety with the protection of the operators air supply hose. The communication cable allows three way voice communication between the Mover operator and another person inside or outside of the tank and also the command module located outside the tank. NESL range of hydraulic power packs are now supplied with IVECO Emission Controlled Engines.
The NES 730 ROVerjet is proving to be "THE" NON MAN ENTRY tank cleaning tool. Incorporating a NES Manway Cannon as well it is equally at home with tanks with and without heating coils. With its variable geometry tracks it can power enter a 24 inch manway in one piece. One inside the tanks the tracks are opened and the cannon, camera and light are raised to their working position. The operation is totally controlled remotely by the operator in an air conditioned control room with video recording of the operation from the on board camera.
