TECHNOLOGY & QUALITY - NES - ALLWAYS AHEAD OF THE REST

NES MOVER tank cleaning kit now conforms to the ATEX directive 94/9EC which became effective from 01/07/2003, the intank equipment NES320 MOVER, NES670 Lobe pump and NES405A Reels are Category II 2G, the NES402B power Pack is Category II 3G - The New NES Manway Cannon and NES Tanksweeps are also ATEX certified.

NES NEW TEST Facility


During Construction	Completed

In keeping with NESL policy of technical development and being at the forefront of new innovative and productive equipment, a new purpose built test facility has been constructed at our Swansea factory. An impressive 17 meters high, with a 81 square meters base, 3 upper decks plus the ground floor with recessed pit. On the top roof structure 2 x 10,000 kilos gantry lifts are installed.

Testing of NES AMS systems for radioactive waste handling is now a regular occurrence. The facility is fitted with a variety of equipment including liquid ring vacuum pump, liquivac pump, vacuum vessel, screw pumps, steam generator, high pressure water jetting pump, transfer pumps and tanks and ultrasonic de-agglomerator.
